Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms
This website and the products and services offered through it are operated by Sheena Works LLC, doing business as Be Screen Free ("Be Screen Free," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of bescreenfree.com and everything we offer through it. By using our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Who can use our services
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase or enter into any agreement with us. By purchasing, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are responsible for your account and any activity that occurs under it.
3. What we offer
We provide memberships (such as The Circle), programs (such as the 30-Day Screen-Free Reset), digital printables and downloads, workshops, and school programs. Descriptions, features, and availability may change over time, and we may add, modify, or discontinue offerings at our discretion.
4. Accounts
If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
5. Payments, billing, and renewals
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are charged through our payment processor (Stripe). Some products, including The Circle, are offered on a recurring subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a repeating basis (for example, monthly or annually) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future charges, and your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. We are not able to provide refunds for partial subscription periods except as described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Refunds, cancellations, and digital products
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary:
- Memberships can be cancelled anytime; cancellation stops future charges, and access continues through the period already paid for. Annual memberships may be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
- Because our programs, printables, and downloads are digital products delivered instantly and kept by you, a refund is available only if requested within 24 hours of purchase and before the materials have been downloaded or accessed. Once any digital product has been downloaded or accessed, the sale is final.
- If you receive a refund for any product, your license to use that product ends immediately, and you agree to delete and stop using all copies of the materials. Retaining or using our materials after a refund is unauthorized and a breach of these Terms (see Section 7).
- We will always correct a genuine technical problem — such as a file that won't open or an incorrect item — regardless of the refund window.
7. Intellectual property and your license to use our content
All content we create — including essays, the 30-Day Reset, printables, workshops, videos, graphics, and other materials — is owned by Be Screen Free and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. When you purchase or subscribe, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to access and use those materials for your own family's use.
You may not resell, redistribute, publicly post, reproduce, or commercially exploit our content; share your account login or paid materials with others; or use any automated means to copy or collect content from the site, without our prior written permission.
8. Community and acceptable use
Where we offer community spaces or comment features, we ask you to be respectful and kind. You agree not to post content that is harassing, abusive, unlawful, or harmful, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site. We may remove content or suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms.
9. Educational purpose — not professional advice
Our content is educational and general in nature. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional who knows your family's specific circumstances. You are responsible for the decisions you make for your household, and outcomes naturally vary from family to family.
10. Disclaimers
The site and all products and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any particular result will be achieved.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Be Screen Free and its owner, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or any product is limited to the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Be Screen Free and its owner, contractors, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the site or products or your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site or any product at any time for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or to us. You may stop using the site at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our products will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Sarasota, Florida, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
